傑作のクロージングに相応しいドラマティックチューンです。もう一部の隙間見当たりません。テンポがコロコロ変わりますが、きちんと一本の芯が通っています。こんな素晴らしい曲を持っているバンドが活動休止しているのは勿体無すぎる。
ダニエル氏の最高歌声やヴォイティック氏のソロと聴き所満載！強いて文句を挙げるなら終わり方をアウトロと被せるのは止めてほしかった。

Awakening the World
これはとにかく熱い。本当に純粋な正統派メタルでハイトーンボイス、疾走感、勇ましさ等メタルに求められているものがこの一枚に詰まっている。やはり③が一番かっこよく、彼らはもちろん全メタラーのアンセムそのものである。③の影に隠れがちだが他の曲も高品質なものばかりだ。

アートワークから想起されるメロスピ界のマノウォーの代表曲であり、メタル史上に残る
名曲です。
イントロのスクリーム4連発から撃沈されます。
兎に角、ダニエル・ハイメンの超ハイトーンヴォーカルが凄過ぎます。
（ロートーンから中音域まで魅力的な声に加え、歌唱力も半端ないです）
スピーディな曲調はメロスピの範疇だと思いますが、
ダニエルの強靭な喉が、どちらかと言えばピュアメタルのイメージを与えています。
ギターソロも素晴らしく、近年この手のコピーしてみたいと思わせるメロディアスでテクニカルなギターは珍しいのではないでしょうか。
カラオケDAMに入っていますが、まともに唄える人がいるのでしょうか？
（ヴォーカルにとって鬼曲ばかりのロスホラの中では、まだましとは言え・・・）

確かにベースの出し方などは、メイデンっぽいとこが
あるように思う。メイデンをパワーメタルにしたら

最初は「Sworn〜」や「Welcome Back」ばかり聴いてたけど、今じゃ一番のお気に入りです。サビの後のギターが最高にカッコいいんだよなあ。曲が終わったと思ったら最後にまた疾走する、という展開も憎い！
前の曲とセットで聴くべし！

Lost Horizonの曲は冗長気味なところがあると思うけれど、
疾走チューンが並んだこの1stでは
勢いとテンションの高さで押しきっている。

もっともっと多くの人に聴いてほしい。
ちなみに聴き込みは結構時間かかった。
ヴォーカルはその強烈なパワーが注目されがちだが、
一番のポイントは時折聴かせる彼の優しい声なんだよね。
ああ何て素晴らしい声だろう。
後、the kingdom of my will は正統派の全てが詰まったような
最高の曲。少し長めだが、長い曲の中でここまで無駄がない
と思った曲はめずらしい。そして歌詞も素晴らしい。俺は
この曲を聴いてすこし泣いてしまった。やっぱり男なら
死ぬほど努力して自分の夢をかなえないといけないんだなあ…。
